This is a picture of my progress i am making on my project. So far so good, more small details will be added to this to make it a little less realistic and more busy (using bright colors) and then incorporating dashed lines throughout just to somewhat distort what is occurring in the project to make it less figurative.
1/7/15 This is my dream time idea/plan for this project. Basically, what I plan on doing is a dream time based on soccer.. I couldn't come up with any better idea of what to do, so I decided on soccer because it is something that I enjoy, plus I play the sport too. So I figured it would be a better fit for me to do this for my dream time project.
1/6/15. This is my attempt at using both the front and back of my block to make a print that contain white spots because of using the different surfaces of the block (front and back... Carved vs. soft with little carving)
This is all of my prints made from my block. There are a total of 9 black and white and then 11 colored. Soon to be posted is a print that used both the front and back of the block print
Artist Proof practice block print using a cube, very proud of this project
Adding a stippling boarder to my final pen and ink drawing, give some more dimension to the entire picture
Created my final drawing on non final paper, to get a sense of what it would be looking like as a final. Currently, I am transferring this non final paper drawing to the final paper to make it officially final.
Using pen and ink to draw these spheres. Each sphere uses a different shading technique. The first one (far left) uses parallel lines, the 2nd one uses cross-hatching and the 3rd one uses random lines and the 4th uses stippling

11/13 This is the picture I am using for my portrait and then the right side is my sketch of it on the sketchbookX app.
11/12 First attempt at drawing a portrait with all facial features.
11/6 Making some progress on my macro still life water color painting. I am using the background color and overlapping leaves in order to create value and space within my painting.
.I took this photo for.my macro still life painting. my sketch of it is also here on the right. I added in the red and green patches to show that there are things going on behind the actual still life. Trying to make this look less boring by including the things behind it.
10/29 A little bit farther on the leaves painting. Shadowing went a little crazy... Possibly starting this painting over again. Shadowing messing with focus of this painting. And the top left leaf is not drawn very well.
10/27 The leaves that I am using for my Macro Still life. Four leaves, of some different sizes and shapes and spread out to fill the space so there is not a lot of white space left open.

This was a one day project able to be completed in the class period. This piece is one big square that works it's way down into a tiny square around the dot placed off center for the view on this piece to make is seem as if it is vanishing away from the eye.
